FC Constantine beat holders ASS Nationale 4-2 on penalties to win the 2018 Coupe d’Algérie Féminines over the weekend.

A goal from Algeria international Naima Benziane opened the scoring for FC Constantine at the hour mark.

However, with ten minutes on the clock, Lynda Chaoucha noded home the equaliser to throw the match wide open.

With both sides unable to bury the match, the final staged at the Colonel Chabou Stadium in Annaba went to penalties.

FC Constantine buried four from the spot to clinch their first ever Cup title after six previous defeats in the final.

The junior cup showdowns went to the wire as well with JF Khroub missing out on a title despite reaching both the U-20 and U-17 girls’ final.

ASE Alger-Centre beat JF Khroub on penalties after a 2-2 draw to clinch the U-17 title.

In the U-20 final, CF Akbou were crowned champions after defeating JF Khroub 3-1 on penalties after a one-all draw.
